Dato’ Dr. Sean SEAH has been the founder of a number of successful tech companies over the past 20 years, including Afor Pte Ltd which was floated in Singapore Stock Exchange and rebranded as Epicentre Holdings Limited, Galasys PLC which was floated in London Stock Exchange, SEATech Ventures Corp. and AsiaFIN Holdings Corp., which are currently floated in the United States capital market and ANGKASA-X Holdings Corp. that offers satellite services to the Southeast Asia countries has also filed for U.S. IPO and obtained approval to list from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
SEAH began his career in the Silicon Valley, California after graduating with a Masters in Computer Science from California State University in 1993, working as a software application developer for Software Publishing Corporation and Netscape Communications Inc. Armed with decades of experience working for these companies in the United States as well as for Sun Microsystems in Southeast Asia and Greater China, SEAH returned to Malaysia in 2004 to embark on an entrepreneur journey.
SEAH is currently the Chairman of WITSA and Finance Committee, the Immediate Past Chairman of PIKOM Malaysia and a Committee Member of the 88-Captains Penang Welfare Society, a charitable non-governmental organisation founded for the purpose of sustaining talent development in Penang and the Northern Region.
