WITSA Mourns the Passing of Marilyn Cade

Ms. Cade worked with and advised WITSA and its member associations around the world for more than twenty years, helping raise awareness to important issues, especially with respect to The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and the U.N. Internet Governance Forum (IGF). Moreover, Marilyn was enthusiastically working with many of our developing country members, helping them engaging in international fora and establishing several regional IGFs around the world.

Marilyn Cade Marilyn’s staunch support of the multistakeholder approach to Internet governance and her advocacy for inclusion of all stakeholders and regions left an indelible impact. Her relationships with the WITSA community went beyond the professional.
